Though the light was not as bright as other fine days, he came through the bleak and flat evening just like it was a day filled with sunshine, and the sight of him made the sky blue and all the wild flowers sparkle as they swayed in the gentle breeze which swept across the patches of lawn and rock around me.
Two small birds joined him on his high perch where I am sure there were many wise and meaningful exchanges, oblivious to the mindless chatter and nothingness along the streets beneath them.
