Linc, Thank you SOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR diligence and LOVE for primarily Pale Male and Lola and all things natural, but also for the beautiful insight you so generously share with us whom you don't even know personally but I feel WE AND YOU DO KNOW YOU and US. There is certainly a very strong bond we share and that is the "PaleMale odyssey" and you actually "talk" to us thru your SECOND TO NONE PHOTOGRAPHS. A MILLION THANKS for such beauty that you bring into our daily lives. So many times we fail to simply 'look up' and REALLY SEE. God Bless YOU.................and PLEASE keep up the artistic photos on the web. Dagmar Y_____ Rhinebeck, NY _______________________________ Thanks for your beautiful website. We have beenn following the story of Pale Male from northern New Hampshire where we have many hawks, eables, blue herons and osprey. Your photos are amazing! What are you shooting with??? Thanks and keep up the good work! Eleanor K____, North Conway, NH __________________________________ Hi I realize I don't know you but I do want you to know how much I appreciate the time and energy it takes to document these extraordinary birds and to also experience the negative side of birds of prey. Thanks for doing what you do. I have always been fascinated by birds of prey, hawks particularly although I don't know why, and I have been following their story for a couple of years now. Take care. Sheri _____________________________________ Again and again I thank you for your dedication to the wildlife of Central Park. I just finished reading Winn’s book, updated edition, on the Red-Tails. It gave me a much better view of the total picture. From the butterflies and dragonflies to all the migrant birds and to Pale Male, et. al. Not to mention all the people who give of their lives to help and monitor the populations mentioned. It is an amazing place and one day I would come to New York just to see Central Park, and hopefully YOU. Your photos are amazing, as always. The closeups are wonderful. THANK YOU VERY MUCH Margaret R__________ ______________________________________________ Hi- my names Jeanette, I live in Oregon. We had a hawk family nest here on our building where I work ( Portland) and we had been watching the family for awhile-that is how I got linked to your site. I just have to say THANK YOU!!! For putting your pictures on line where we can see them, they are so beautiful - I love seeing the hawks everyday and what they are doing and their friends in the city..I am so amazed and blown away with these beautiful creatures and it is so nice that you put them online and we can watch this every day!! Thank you for your work and sharing! Jeanette _______________________________ I love this site. It is the way every morning I start my day. Thanks for the beautiful pictures and interesting comments. Always brings a smile to my face. Keep up the good work. Pam Monkton, Maryland ______________________________________________ Just wanted you to know, I was lucky enough this morning to have someone forward me your photos. They are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing. The photo with the mouse should be front page news. People should be aware that they are natural pest control. Kindest regards, Mary WILDLIFE REHAB Permit No. XXXXXXX _______________________________________________ Dear Lincoln: I do not know how many hits your site gets each day from around the world, but I sure hope it is numbered in the thousands. Yours is one of the greatest love stories ever told, in a time when this poor old world needs all the love it can get. The inspiring affection of Pale Male' and Lola for each other is topped only by your obvious love for them both ---and for all the wonderful wild critters you find living their quiet lives in Central Park. I for one sign on to your site each day as an antidote for all the craziness of our own so-called civilized world. We need Pale Male and his dignity far more than we sometimes realize. Keep up the good work. You and your wild friends are treasured by us all. Maurice M________ Mount Vernon, VA ________________________________________________ I thought you mite like this. Louise R___ Subject: Two Wolves Two Wolves One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." _________________________________________ thank you again for filling my heart with joy - your pictures begin my day. I used to live in the country, just outside of a wildlife preserve, and saw hawks often. My children used to tease me, that I would just about run off the road, watching one soar overhead. The Minneapolis public television station just ran the documentary, it was pledge week, and that show is a sure way to bring in a lot of viewers. Thank you again, and again, and again tomorrow. ______________________________________________ |
